I have no idea what today is and frankly don't care. I was getting really frustrated, and the past two days have been a break in routine. Didn't really do anything job related. You-cubez: I figured out a few ways to make money at a reasonable rate around the site. It's not enough to live on, but it's something. While I was there, I found a site called advertising. It's like adsense, but WAY less strict, and no wait for approval and account registration bla bla bla. you'll notice I'll start putting their ads here. lovely lemurs. yep.
what else was I doing? oh yeah. Web answers: no way i'm making the quota by sunday. I haven't really bothered to answer anything lol
in other news: I applied as a private contractor to a reputable sex chat site. I'll just call it text chat here. i can't say much about them. They like confidentiality. and yes, Match knows i'm doing this. I had a long talk with him to see what he thought first. I don't think it would be fair to do something like that without knowing he's totally comfortable with it and trusts me.

Day three (starting to make a little progress!)
So i've figured out a way to be less impatient about all this. I set realistic goals for what I want to achieve each day, and by the end of the week. I'm not planning further ahead than that. I'm feeling confidant and inspired. I think I can do this after all! And hey, once you get past the frustrating hurry-up-and-wait stuff, it's actually pretty fun. I'm curled up on my bed in my pj's and a fuzzy blanket, my computer on the desk next to me, with my favorite music playing. I can't imagine not wanting to make a living at this. I wish I'd started this two years ago.
You-Cubez: the secret seems to be in buying and selling cubez, more than completing offers and whatnot. I still haven't gotten the money promised for the offers I completed. Those were worth 42 pounds all together (about 65 USD.) I could feed myself for a month with that if I planned it right.

Day four: easy day
I didn't do much. I sold a couple of my cubez, and that's about it. Match and I went for a walk, but got caught in the rain. We hid under a convenient bridge to stay dry, then had a blast getting all the salamanders and frogs we saw off the road on our way back, once the rain let up. I have a big soft spot for amphibians ^_^
Youcubez: listed a couple cubez for sale, the offers I completed went through so I had some extra to stash away in my nest egg cube, and I think that's all? i'm braindead.
Webanswers: haven't bothered doing anything with it today. I think i'll answer a few before I go to bed.

Day Two
Day two and i'm already frustrated. This takes more work than I thought. You really have to be dedicated to get started, but once you've met the requirements for most sites, I imagine it's easier to get a steady income. I just gotta keep reminding myself that patience is a virtue. On a brighter note, Match stopped by to see me after work. We took a walk and found a grove of huckleberries like... right next to my house that I didn't know about. I had a plastic egg carton that I washed up and used for a chocolate mold, and we made a creamy filling for them out of the berries we picked. They came out SO GOOD. I want to eat them all like... right now but i'd get fat LOL
youcubez: I bought two cubez, but it takes two days for the transaction to complete. I'm trying to figure out a strategy to quickly earn money around the site, but so far i'm not doing so great. They have a membership program where you have less to do to earn money (like... play a game 30 times for unpaid to get a pound, play 10 times with paid account to earn a pound) I'm looking forward to beefing up the value of those cubez and selling them. I think i'll set aside at least one that i'll keep adding to for like... 6 months or something, but I want to sell one soon for cheap so I can get an idea of how it works. I completed a bunch of offers for money to add to cubez, but they take like 2-3 days to complete the transaction too.
Webanswers: still haven't met the quota. you'd be surprised how long it takes to find/answer 50 questions. I'm stickin' to my guns! I want to have that done by this sunday at the latest. (that would be... day 6, aka the 10th.) Anybody think I can do it? C'mon! I need some motivation here! lol Where's Richard Simmons when you need him?
Other stuff: I tried filling out a resume on a site called "sexy jobs" to be a text chat operator. I have no offers or responses for what I was looking for, but so far I have 19 e-mails asking me to be a webcam model, and a couple thrown in there are for stuff like errotic parties and stuff. Can't do that yet, but I know what I'm doing for a living when I get married. This stuff pays amazingly well, and allot of them don't care if you have experience or not as long as you're cute and personable. I can SO do that! Most of the party places offered to hire a body guard for me, pay all travel expenses, give me a pretty high salary if i'd take the job. Nice bonus if you ask me! I wonder if there's a catch? There's gotta be right? Maybe not, since so few people would actually do that for a living.

First Day
Ok, so today didn't go so great. I wanted to get up this morning and get right to work, but things didn't happen that way. A friend of mine often tells me: "If you want to make God laugh, wake up and tell him what you're going to do that day. I guarantee you He has other plans." He's so right. I wound up helping my Dad put new lettering on his septic truck, riding with him so he could show it off to some of our friends, falling asleep on the couch with match (came to visit after work. yeah he has a job. I'm so jellin' right now lol) and... to be honest i don't remember much of my day. My brain doesn't want to work for me right now. I did get something done at least.
I tried you-cubez.com. interesting place. it's hard to explain, but you're basically buying and selling advertising packages. Allot of the offers are spammy. i tried a couple of the free offers to earn money, and my virus blocker kept quarantining and blocking stuff. You can do stuff like play games, and click other people's "cubes" to make money a little bit at a time. I would be sinking allot of time into this, but i think i might be able to at least make back the 15$ i put into it if i give it a fair shot.
I also tried adding google adsense to this page. They denied me an account because they said there wasn't enough "text content" grr. So i'll write a couple posts and try again later. (google puts advertisements on your page/website/etc and pays you for it.)

The difference is you can link your google adsense account to it, and get paid for every click on your "best answers" for a year. Ok! so i know everyone's read the spammy junk mail and adds about 'work home free! get rich quick! blablablablabla..." and so have I. I always thought it was stupid to even give it a second thought. turns out I was wrong, so I think i'm gonna give it a shot.
First, let me tell ya a little about myself. I'm 20 years old. I have an awesome boyfriend who I will call "Match" here, because he is my perfect match and he has this amazing way of lighting my fire. You'll hear me talk about him a lot. Next summer we want to get married, and i'm trying to set aside money so we can afford to live comfortably, and pay for the wedding ourselves. A honeymoon would be awesome too. i'm not lazy or unemployable. I have good skills, a nice resume, but there's not much employment where I live, and it's dwindling all the time. While i'm working at home, i'll still be filling out applications and bugging employers about whether they read them yet or not. My parents are being really sweet and letting me stay with them without rent, because they say i'm easy to live with and i don't mind helping them out with stuff. so yeah; that sums up why i'm here in a nutshell, i think.
This was actually Match's idea. I tend to be very very sexy even when i'm not trying to be. My yawns and sneezes even sound sexy. So match came up with this idea that I should be a phone sex operator when we get married, to help with finances. We fantasized about it, and the kinds of things we'd do together while i was "working" and then for the fun of it, he looked it up to see how you'd actually get that kind of job. That sparked my curiosity. What if you could like... sex chat like people do on chat sites, but get paid for it? well hey, that's cool. I can. There's allot of other stuff i love doing online that I could get paid for too. How cool is that? So i'm gonna give it a shot to make a little money. Who knows, maybe i'll make enough I won't have to get a normal job? I'm gonna keep looking for normal jobs too.
